Ahead of the 2021 Memorial Golf Tournament at Muirfield Village Golf Club I was tasked with creating a new MVGC for Full Swing. As the 2020 tournament was finishing the final round bulldozers were already stripping holes players were finished with. There was a small window relatively speaking between the new changes getting grassed in and the information being passed on to me to be implemented and the start of the tournament. It took me by surprise when I learned that Full Swing Golf had none other than John Rahm out to their headquarters to test my lastest at the time, MVGC 2021 mere weeks ahead of the Memorial. This happend to be the same tournament he was leading by 6 shots when his daily covid test came back positive and was force to withdraw. I jokingly take credit for his great performance in that tournament as he had a great first look at the course prior to the event!
In follow up to the coolest moment in my career working on content for Full Swing Golf Simulators with Nicklaus Design John Rahm in this video describes how he'd play the 18th hole at Muirfield Village. At the beginning Rahm thanks the team for being able to see the renovated holes before going to the tournament! And yes, I'd take a Par on 18 for the rest of my life as well!
Here is a video cut together from Full Swing Golf themselves featuring one of the golf courses I produced for them while working for Nicklaus Design. This golf course has a couple of unique holes; specifically a par 3 high up on the mountain featuring a tee shot over a chasm! This was a fun project to work on with all the hills and elevation changes as the routing of the golf course utilized the existing landscape wonderfully.
Quivira Los Cabos sits on such an extraordinary site on the southern tip of the Mexican Baja peninsula, and I believe I captured every bit of its majesty. Hats off to the team at Full Swing for jazzing up the mood with the choice in music. This was my first real project with the team, and I was honored to get great hands-on training throughout the process.
Features on Full Swing Golf's youtube channel is probably my favorite projects I've worked on to date, Top of the Rock. This is their version of a trailer however I also created one which will be shown below.
Before we knew Muirfield Village Golf Club was getting a renovation by Jack Nicklaus we had decided to deliver MVGC to Full Swing for play on their simulator. Our work must've made they happy as you can see here, they've made their own trailer for the course. While not every course we deliver to Full Swing gets a trailer via Full Swing's marketing team, quite a few of the projects I've delivered get trailers for features on their promotional posts.
Since I so enjoy working on Top of the Rock for Full Swing Golf I couldn't help myself and made my own trailer for it. I never intended it to be used in any public marketing capacity, more a labor of love.
A special treat: A playlist consisting of flythroughs of each of the 18 holes at Quivira Los Cabos while Jack Nicklaus narrates each hole's strategy and what he likes about it. It was an absolute honor to be with Jack and record his voice over while playing him my flythroughs hearing him remember as if he were there.

A playlist consisting of flythroughs of each hole displaying proposed renovations for a member vote in March 2023. What's special about this project is I had 1/3 the time, 2 weeks, to get this level of detail. At this point, visually this project is on par with other final projects; only items missing are playability assets for the simulator which would take about a week to implement.
I've been employed at Nicklaus Design since April 2012 starting with CAD and moving up to my current role of developing digital golf courses in 3D to be playable on Full Swing Golf simulators. I work closely with Full Swing's dev team to develop and implement best practices and workflows to maximize visuals while keeping sustainably high framerates. I'm involved in every aspect of game development when designing courses for a simulator: full asset production pipeline, animation, level design, environment design, lighting, unity 3d workflows, in engine recording, light script editing, and bug testing/playtesting.
I've been working with Nuclei Inc. since 2011 as a character animator on various projects chiefly among them "The Haxxor". My time working with the small indie team has allowed me to grow and refine my skills rising from Animator to Lead Animator.
I attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale where I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Game Art and Design with a specific focus in character animation in December of 2011.
I possess a sharp eye for motion, weight, and the way things flow, which I use every day to learn from and improve my animations. I work well under pressure and can produce high-quality work in short periods of time. I have strong interpersonal skills and work well with a wide variety of people.
My skill set includes the following:
I'm a very fast student and take on new responsibilities and challenges willingly. Always looking to improve I hope to be challenged by you someday.
